Description

The Clamshell Pickle 6-inch design is so unusual that Barbara Brackman called it “Unknown Pattern” on the Material Culture blog. Of course, Inklingo quilters asked for it right away! They knew they could get wonderful results if they had Inklingo’s precise stitching lines and matching marks.

The arcs are ideal for “continuous stitching” by hand while you watch TV, and then you can machine piece the rest for a fast finish.

The half-clamshells allow you to finish the edges.

Sewing with Inklingo is more fun because everything fits perfectly, presses well, and lies flat.

Chain piece Clamshell Pickle shaes by machine

If you like machine piecing:  The arcs are great for chain piecing, and curves by machine have never been easier, thanks to the stitching lines and matching marks printed on the fabric with Inklingo.

Love the lines. Quilt more!

Relax and sew! Spend your time stitching, not getting ready to stitch. Print the cutting and stitching lines on scraps from your stash.

If you are new to Inklingo, I strongly recommend starting with the free Diamond Triangle Square shape collection. It includes the first chapter of The Inklingo Handbook and some great shapes to print on fabric to get you started.

Making these is so addictive that I think I’ll need a 12-step program to stop!! Inklingo makes what would be a difficult block a very simple and extremely enjoyable one to stitch!
