The LeMoyne star is an eight-pointed star, and it is the simplest of many designs that can be made with 45 degree diamonds.
There are 5 shapes in this collection—diamond, half square triangle, quarter square triangle, and two sizes of square.

My Mistake I shouldn't have named this collection "LeMoyne Star" because that is just the tip of the iceberg. Please don't limit yourself to just a few stars.
