Description

Use any 4.5-inch block in the center of Feathered Star 15-inch. Wow.

Since Inklingo quilters do not have to measure the feathers to cut them, Inklingo makes an innovative new approach possible. I designed the Feathered Star shape collections to allow quilters to use any standard blocks in the center (blue box below) to give maximum design flexibility. Monkey is very impressed when I have a brainstorm like this.

I probably never would have attempted a Feathered Star block without the help of Inklingo. The printed lines and cross hairs make matching the seams for even the smallest pieces easy. Linda even includes a pressing guide to print to ensure the accuracy of your feathers.

I have made two feathered star quilts. The first was made the “old fashion way” and I have to admit I had some wonky areas in the quilt. The second quilt was made the Inklingo way. Using Inklingo was so much easier and my quilt went together perfectly with no cut off points. I would highly recommend the Feathered Star Inklingo collections

  3. Kathy (verified owner)

The feathered star went together easily and perfectly. It was so nice to not have to worry about measuring all of the different size pieces. Just print, cut and sew. It is so much easier than any of the traditional methods that I have used in the past.
