The new Curvy Hexie Star shapes can be used with matching hexagons to make some fabulous designs.
This is one of the worksheets in each Curvy Hexie Star shape collection.
HOW BIG?
The dimensions of 60° Hexagons can be a bit confusing, and since there is a choice of 4 sizes, let’s compare.
1.5 inch 60° Hexagons – Dimensions
- 1.5 inches finished on each side
- 2.6 inches across the middle from flat side to flat side
- 3 inches across the middle from point to point
That gives you a star about 5.2 x 5.25 inches.
If you have the shape collection for Inklingo 60° Hexagons 1.5 inch you can use them with Curvy Hexies 1.5 inch too!
2 inch 60° Hexagons – Dimensions
- 2 inches finished on each side
- 3.46 inches across the middle from flat side to flat side
- 4 inches across the middle from point to point
That gives you a star about 6.92 x 7 inches.
If you have the shape collection for Inklingo 60° Hexagons 2 inch you can use them with Curvy Hexies 2 inch too!
2.25 inch 60° Hexagons – Dimensions
- 2.25 inches finished on each side
- 3.9 inches across the middle from flat side to flat side
- 4.5 inches across the middle from point to point
That gives you a star about 7.8 x 7.875 inches.
If you have the shape collection for Inklingo 60° Hexagons 2.25 inch you can use them with Curvy Hexies 2.25 inch too!
3 inch 60° Hexagons – Dimensions

Something sassy about that combination!
Love the look of these, Linda, and the dimensions you offered today are hugely helpful in gauging block/quilt sizes. Thank you!
