5-Pointed Star 4 inch PDF
US$30.00
Print on fabric for these patriotic stars and have some fun getting better results than with acrylic templates.
Piece by hand or by machine or a bit of both (hybrid).
Description
5-Pointed Star 4 inch can be sewn with a combination of hand or machine piecing, although I normally sew this small size by hand. Printing the shapes on fabric is much better than using templates and there are TWO methods of fussy cutting.

Basic shapes for 5-Pointed Star 4 inch PLUS Bonus Shapes
I included the half kite, a pentagon, a triangle, the quarter background and a 4 inch square with appliqué for even more design and sewing options.
After posting photos of some of my 5-pointed stars on Facebook, quilters asked me to finish the shape collection as quickly as possible, so this shape collection relies on instructions which are already on the website, like rotary cutting curves, hand piecing curves, fussy cutting, hybrid piecing, circling the intersection and more. Please check this page again for updates under the tabs (above).

NEW Circle the Intersection
Circle the Intersection
Every intersection in your 5-Pointed Stars 4 inch can be PERFECT when you use a simple hand piecing technique that I call circling the intersection.
It allows you to brag about your precise results as much as you like and be confident that your friends will be impressed.
Circling the Intersection highlights the advantages of having crosshairs to mark the seam endings.
There is a good article (with music!) and a short video that shows how to pass the needle through the crosshairs one pair of seam allowances at a time, all the way around, and then continue along the seam as usual.
I think you will love this simple, satisfying method. Article with video.
There are so many advantages when we print on fabric with Inklingo!
